Brother Steve Camp has posted an excellent article about the proper Christian response to the AIDS crisis in the world today, and you can find it here. It is well worth your read!

I just don't listen to anything Steve Camp has to say anymore.

Is it because of that one comment, or are there other things that irritated you about him?
Given many of the things I've read by him and the company he keeps (Tom Ascol, James White, etc), I can't help but think he has a good head on his shoulders, and also seeks to be humble and righteous in what he does.
He indeed makes mistakes as the rest of us do at times, but if said mistakes are the exception rather than the rule, perhaps another chance can be given?
Just a thought. :)

Yep. That one very arrogant comment. I've seen it before more than once: an autocratic "pastor" who feels that "I'm right because I'm the pastor -God's chosen one- and no one can refute me" attitude. I can not see the likes of Mark Dever or John Piper doing that to someone. Strike one. He's out. I won't tolerate it and I don't expect to be any worse for it.
I've got far better things to do than listen to the words of someone I can't respect. I put him in my "Apprising Slice" bin a long time ago.

Look for the comment by Steve with the time stamp of: 5:01:36 PM It starts with "I am a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ" and goes downhill from there.

that comment is pretty bad...but make sure you show charity even to those who make a mistake...I need to work on this as well. We probably both say a lot of stupid stuff in spite, thank God, literally, that they have not been caught on the front page
