Amazing Grace
I have a couple of posts in the works; one is the beginning of a running exposition of Ephesians, and another is a biblical analysis of the Assembly of God view of a believer's security in Christ. However, those are going to take a while, and I wanted to make you all aware of a WONDERFUL resouce that I have had the pleasure of viewing recently.
I ordered a copy of "Amazing Grace: The History and Theology of Calvinism" from Founders Press last week, and it came yesterday. Helene (my wife) and I were up late watching it, and finished it today. I have to tell you, it was probably the best presentation of the Doctrines of Grace that I have ever seen. It shows the origins of the controversy from church history, explains all five points of Calvinism biblically and winsomely, and then launches into how all of this ought to affect and strengthen our evangelism. I highly recommend it to everyone out there; get yourself a copy of this, and order it from Founders (best price I've seen, and they guys deserve your support more than Amazon or somewhere else).
As always, To God ALONE be the GLORY!
